Gimpo joined our kennel in 2025 after being imported directly from Japan and has become a highly valuable addition to our breeding program.

He is an Akita with an exceptionally friendly, confident, and active temperament. Gimpo approaches new situations with natural confidence and pride, showing neither insecurity nor hesitation. He possesses a balanced character and strong mentality, qualities that are highly valued in the traditional Japanese Akita.

Gimpo stands out with his beautiful deep red coat, excellent body structure, spacious and fluid movement, and a very correct head featuring the sharp, masculine expression typical of the breed.

His pedigree combines some of the most influential Akitas of recent years, including the famous Meiyoshou winners Awa Daitei Go Jr Matsunaga and Megumi Go Oomagari Hamada, both of whom are highly respected names in the Akita world.

Despite his impressive appearance, Gimpo is also a very playful, affectionate, and people-oriented dog with an exceptionally friendly nature, making him not only an outstanding representative of the breed but also a wonderful companion.
