Hasshu Tsurugi Go joined our kennel in 2025 after being imported directly from Japan. From the very first moment, he impressed us with his exceptional quality, demonstrated not only by his outstanding pedigree but also by the achievements he earned in his country of origin. At a young age, he became an AKIHO show winner in Japan.

Tsurugi is an impressive male with a remarkably deep red coat, above-average size, and exceptionally strong bone structure. He possesses excellent body construction, correct proportions, and a harmonious silhouette that perfectly reflects the traditional Japanese Akita type. His movement is spacious, effortless, and highly elegant, showcasing both his strength and sound structure.

In addition to his outstanding conformation, Tsurugi is distinguished by his balanced and confident temperament. He displays a typical Akita expression, excellent character, and a stable disposition, making him not only a successful show dog but also an exceptional representative of the breed.

His pedigree is equally impressive. Among his ancestors are several notable Japanese champions, including the legendary MEIYOSHOU winner Hasshu Yamato Go Kawasaki Takayamasou, after whom he was named. This bloodline is renowned for its quality, strong bone, impressive size, excellent movement, and characteristic expression-traits that Tsurugi represents to an outstanding degree.
